Oura is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Chaves, with an area of 14.51 km² and 602 inhabitants (2011). Its population density is 41.5 inhabitants / km².
22 km from the city of Chaves and facing Vidago, south of the municipality and at its limit, precisely where Estrada Nacional 2 leaves the municipality to enter the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar. The parish of Oura is located in a strip of territory that is known for the Ribeira de Oura Valley, also known for its fertile lands.
Its limits are the parishes of Arcossó, Vidago, Selhariz, Loivos and also with the parishes of Capeludos, Bragado, Vreia de Bornes and Valouras, the latter in the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar.
